Grateful

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays.  There are not gifts, no gimmicks, no materialism.  For me, it's always been a day filled with family and friends, hours of cooking, games, hikes, feasting, laughing and taking pause to honor my beautiful life.

I am grateful for my gregarious, sensitive, passionate, fierce, loving son.

I am grateful for the last year, for both the challenges and the knowledge.

I am grateful for my family; for their craziness, humor, unconditional love, friendship, inspiration.  Especially my parents, who are an amazing example of love and fortitude.

I am grateful that my husband works so hard at a job he doesn't like so I can stay home with Lucca.

I am grateful for my friendships. The beautiful people that share their souls with me, hold me up, make me laugh, inspire and support me, teach me and love me, just as I am.

I am grateful for my art and the gift of finally finding my voice, at least one note of my voice.

Lastly, I am grateful for my strength, compassion, humor, resilience and passion for life.

I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving Day filled with love, laughter, friends and family!  Much love.
